Eastern & Western Faridabad connectivity to be strengthened<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Addressing the second meeting of the Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority (FMDA) on July 17, 2020 \u2013 the body tasked with the development work in Faridabad – Haryana CM Shri Manohar Lal Khattar instructed the authorities to build a single road to connect Faridabad with Greater Noida and Gurgaon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CM instructed that a single road must connect the three parts of Faridabad (NIT, Old, and Greater Faridabad) and lead to Greater Noida on one side and Gurgaon on the other side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It may be recalled that the FMDA has given out tenders to carry out survey of the four routes to connect Western Faridabad (NIT area) with Eastern Faridabad (Greater Faridabad area). This will improve connectivity between different regions of the city and also facilitate the easy movement of people and goods to Noida\/Greater Noida. Currently, there are no direct routes to connect Faridabad with Noida\/Greater Noida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other decisions taken during the 2nd<\/sup> FMDA meeting include a road from Sohna to Ballabhgarh that will connect with KGP via bypass road and a road from Ankheer Chowk to Sector 29 will be extended till Manjhawali Bridge. This will connect East and West Faridabad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The massive expansion and planning of road infrastructure will, in the times to come, make Faridabad accessible to two international airports \u2013 the operational Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi and the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar via seamless road connectivity. The city is already attracting a lot of interest from investors and homebuyers vying for handsome returns and homes in a low-density area with lots of open and green spaces. The city is a 15 min drive from South Delhi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
