In a survey done by Housing.com and Naredco, it was found that proximity to healthcare infrastructure is the top-ranked amenity for potential homebuyers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhile pre-COVID homebuyers mainly focused on amenities such as furnishings, parking, power backup, amongst others, our survey indicates that healthcare infrastructure and recreational and open spaces are now taking precedence,\u201d the survey said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In New Chandigarh, where the company is executing an integrated township, residents will have access to the proposed 358-acre Medicity, which is one of a kind healthcare destination in Punjab. This facility is located opposite Omaxe World Plaza, a commercial hub inside the township. Come Dec 2021, the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) Hospital in Medicity will commence operations. In Faridabad<\/a>, the company is executing a commercial and residential township, Omaxe World Street in Sector 79 and Omaxe World Homes in Sector 97 respectively. The 2700 Bed AMMA hospital lies in the vicinity. The two townships have excellent connectivity with Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida and efforts are going by the government to strengthen it further to make this industrial town a centre of residential and commercial activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The survey, which was conducted between January and June 2021, also points to other positives. 40% think that the overall economic scenario will improve for the coming six months, 60 percent were confident about the income for the coming six months, 35% say they will resume home search in 3 months, 71% have reported that flexible payment and discounts will provide for the financial cushioning and 53 percent of homebuyers reported that they want to upgrade their home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Housing sales have also recorded an increase in the Jan-June period. With total sales of 99,416 residential units in the first half of 2021 across top markets, housing sales recorded a rise of 67% YoY, according to a report by Knight Frank India.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
