Ms. Savita Kanswal, 24, hails from a small village in Uttarkashi district in Uttarakhand. In her endeavor to scale the Mount Everest, Omaxe Foundation and others came together to crowd fund her expedition to the World\u2019s highest peak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a grand flag off organised on March 20, 2022, noted adman, lyricist, writer, and poet Mr. Prasoon Joshi was present who recited a poetry to encourage womanhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Omaxe Foundation, under the leadership of its Chairperson Ms. Sushma Goel, has been encouraging and supporting India\u2019s youth especially women in the field of education, sports, and entrepreneurship over the past several years in line with the vision of the Government of India. Mr. Mohit Goel, Managing Director, Omaxe Ltd<\/a> was present at the occasion on behalf of the Chairperson of Omaxe Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ms. Kanswal in June 2021 had scaled Mount Lhotse (8516m), the world’s fourth-highest peak. She has also scaled Trisul (7120 m), Hanuman Tibba (5930m), Kolahoi (5400m) among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ms. Kanswal thanked the contributors for facilitating her Mount Everest expedition.<\/p>\n\n\n
